Giant Quilted Bow Class

We will be constructing the bow in class, you will need to prepare your fabric pieces in advance according to the instructions on the pattern.

The pattern provides two options.

  •          Wholecloth – using the instructions in the pattern, cut your fabric and quilt (simple lines/grid looks fabulous)
  •          Patchwork – using the the instructions in the pattern, piece your squares and quilt (simple lines/grid looks fabulous)

They recommend quilting both options with high loft poly batting. I have tried several different options, you will find the one that works best for you. I prefer using Soft and Stable as it gives the bow a bit of stiffness. If using Soft and stable, you will not need to quilt the back side of the fabric.

We will trim your quilted fabric/patchwork in class and construct your bow.
